Q: How much does it cost to have a Locksmith call out ?

A: This really depends on many factors.  Best advise is to ask the locksmith you intend to get for an upfront estimate or quotation.  Beware of many offering “Free” or  No call out charges, in most cases they apply a minimum labour charge which includes the time they have spent travelling to you premises.   An A.L.O.I. Locksmith will be happy to give you a break down in advance of your expected charges.

Q: What is a 5 lever lock ?

A: Most people expect to find a lock with 5 secure bolts extending form the edge of the door !

But the the term 5 lever relates to the internal mechanism of the lock.  Commonly specified by insurance companies, its the minimum security standard for traditional square edge doors.

Ask your local A.L.O.I. Locksmith for their advice.
